The first chapter introduces you to some general concepts about the AccuRev usage model and the four basic commands that allow you to accomplish much of your day-to-day work. Subsequent chapters describe typical Developer and Release Engineer experiences using AccuRev configuration management. Audience This book is intended for new AccuRev users, in particular, developers who will be using AccuRev on a daily basis. Before You Begin This book assumes that you or your AccuRev administrator have performed a complete AccuRev installation, including the initial setup of an AccuRev depot and workspaces, and the installation of a local AccuRev client. You will use your local AccuRev client to perform the procedures described in this book. Using This Book This book assumes you are familiar with your operating system and its commands. It does not assume any experience with AccuRev.
